ElkRP Help

File Menu: Print

This menu command displays a list of all the reports that can be printed. Click a box to place a check beside each report you want to print, then click the Print button. Reports that can be printed are:

This Account

Prints the opened account’s programmed data. When this report is selected, ElkRP will ask what items from the account to include. For help with those items, refer to the help file for that model of system.

List of all accounts

Prints a brief summary of all accounts in the database. Only the Account ID, customer name, city, state, telephone number, model, and serial number for each account are included in the report. Although the information is concise, if there are a lot of accounts in your database, this report may be quite lengthy. To see how long the report would be before printing it, preview it first.

ElkRP Log

This report is a printout of the entire ElkRP Log. The log lists which operator logged on and when, what accounts they opened, whether they connected to a system, etc. This report could be very long, depending on how big a log file the system administrator specified in the Setup menu. To see how long the report would be before printing it, preview it first. After printing or previewing this report, you have the options of backing up and purging the log.

List of All Operators

This report is available only if Multi-operator Access is enabled. It prints a list of all operators, their passwords, and access levels. You must enter the administrator’s password to print this report.

There are five buttons beside the list of reports. They are:

  • Print – Prints the selected (checked) reports on the default printer.
  • Preview – Displays the selected (checked) report on your screen. Inside the preview, you can print the report as shown or export it to a file. Use the print and export icons on the preview toolbar to do this.
  • Cancel – Exits the print menu without doing anything.
  • Setup – Allows you to select the default printer, select the paper size and orientation, and change settings specific to your printer.
  • Help – Brings up the online help for ElkRP

To select the default printer, paper size and orientation, etc, use the Print Setup command in the File menu or click the Setup button.
