During the connection process, ElkRP compares the serial number and RP Access Code (both on the Account Details screen) with the same programmed in the system. If they do not match, the connection is terminated. The serial number is programmed in the system by the factory and cannot be changed. The RP Access Code is set by the factory with a default value of 246801. This code can be changed, but only when ElkRP is connected to the system.
During the final part of the connection process, ElkRP determines if changes have been made in either the system or to the account’s database entry since the last connection. If so, ElkRP displays a list of the differences in the Conflicts Window, allowing the operator to resolve the differences. This feature may be disabled by your system administrator.
